Lots of people love to go skiing and do all the other winter sports, along with snuggling by the fire, but most humans will head toward somewhere with warm weather for their holiday. Beach vacations are the choice for many, to feel the warm breeze, sand between their toes and the sun on their face.
A fantastic destination for a beach holiday is the country of Australia. There is warm weather all year long here with a beautiful climate so it can accommodate sun worshippers whenever they decide to travel. The variety of water sports is unlimited for you action types, and if you want to relax the beaches are very scenic with cliffs rising up.
The beach front locations are broken down into two main segments, the Sunshine Coast and the Gold Coast. The Sunshine coast is a beachfront region that is about 40 km long. It begins to the north of the main city in the region; Brisbane at a place called Noosa and continues on to Caloundra. The Sunshine Coast offers an amazing getaway for anyone who is looking to enjoy their beach holiday without too much of the tourist hustle and bustle. If you are looking for beach front accommodations at an affordable price than the Sunshine Coast is the place for you.
A little bit south of the Sunshine Coast, the Gold Coast has many more tourists and is a bit more costly, but it is known for a certain location called Surfer's Paradise. This is what brings in a lot of tourists, along with the fantastic beaches and all types of luxury accommodations. But with all of that, it does stay more crowded all year because of the many amusement parks and the multitude tourist attractions that everyone wants to see.
It really makes no difference which area of Australia you choose because you will be pleased with either one. The whole region is blessed with fabulous shopping, fine dining to die for, and the ever present Aussie hospitality, friendly to all. Pick which one fits your personality and as a beach person you will be amazed with the cleanliness and paradise aspect of the coastline.
